What are your favorite ways to communicate with your customers and what do you plan on trying out in the future?
Social media  has been a great way for our customers to stay up to date on the latest GreatCall news and conversely for us to also answer any questions, comments or concerns in a timely manner to ensure they are having the best user experience they can with our products and services.  We love it when our customers interact with our brand by following us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/GreatCallInc  and commenting on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/greatcall.  
We have many opportunities to communicate more using email as well, and are actively testing way to do this without people feeling we are sending them too much.
But despite the new ways to communicate offered by new digital technologies, our favorite way to communicate is still one-on-one, primarily over the phone.  We pride ourselves in our 100% U.S. based call center and agents that are trained to understand and help our customers with anything they need 

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned about building a brand?
Building a brand is most successful when you have a clear idea of what the consumers’ needs are and you deliver on those needs at every step of the journey.  What has been the most challenging aspect of starting the brand?
Setting oneself apart from the competition is always a challenge, however, we believe that GreatCall differentiates itself from other wireless services providers through our simplified, personalized and humanized approach, as well as the company’s commitment to providing a high quality customer service experience. In fact, our products and services have been widely praised for their ability to deliver the benefits of innovation and technology in a meaningful and easy-to-use format. Who or what do you look to for your inspiration?
As a very busy, working mother of two young boys, I am always concerned with keeping my sons safe and healthy.   I naturally have an interest in the products and services that can keep me and my family safe and secure — but they also have to be practical, affordable and easy to use.  I was raised by a single mother who sacrificed so much for us.  Now that she is getting older I’m proud to be building a brand that is committed to providing products and services for keeping her safe, healthy and connected.

Hello guys and beauties. I hope everyone is doing well, and getting ready for a great holiday season coming up. I wanted to write a review on the most raved and highly suggested vitamins for hair, skin, and nails. Phytophanere Dietary Supplements available at Sephora for $50. These supplements were part of my huge collective haul in 11/6/11. Phytophanere provides 120 caplets, which is supposed to lasts for two months. Each caplet provides the necessary vitamins,
minerals, and natural oils to nourish skin, strengthen hair, and fortify nails.


I originally bought these supplements for my healthy hair growth, because I transitioned from my relaxed hair routine to natural hair, and I want my hair to be healthy enough to grow.
Since, I am almost done with these supplements, I am proud to say that I actually do like these supplements and will definitely re-purchase them in the future. The pros are these supplements strengthened my hair and kept my scalp smooth from the necessary oils. My skin looked brighter, it also helped clear my acne, and I noticed a decrease of age lines around my face. My nails looked stronger, and clear. I absolutely have no complaints about the functionality of these supplements, and I can see that these supplements actually does it job. It works very well.


The only con I have about these supplements are I did not notice a difference in hair growth. I only noticed the thickness of my hair, but as far as hair length, I did not notice anything. I was disappointed, but I was pretty happy to notice that these supplements helps turn my fine hair, in to thick hair. I wish I could have noticed some change in length, but maybe my hair is still going through the process of getting used to being natural. I am definitely going to give these
supplements more time, and hopefully see a change in length growth of my hair. That is my only con about these supplements.


I like these supplements, and I can see why many people recommend them. They function well, do what they say it does for hair, skin, and nails, and it is definitely worth the $50. I know it is pricey for a bottle of caplets, but trust me; it is very worth trying out. The supplements actually last for 2 months. I suggest drinking plenty of water while taking these supplements, to see a

What is your advice for those who want to start their own brand?
To stay focused and committed. To not get discouraged with mistakes. Building a brand is a learning process.

Pantone, the design world’s authority on color, announced the punchy shade as the anticipated hue of the 2012.  Dramatic reddish orange reflects positive energy and warmth; however, for some, it may be too bright and on the cheery side.

Deborah’s five tips on adding much-needed pop without disappointment are below:

  • Go all out: If you are in LOVE with the Pantone suggestion, go all out and coat an entire room with walls donning Tangerine Tango.  Add a few neutral accents (taupe, brown, khaki or cream) to soften the shade.
  • Ablaze in the Bedroom: Mix the shade with patterns and basic white to break up the space, add modernity to your personal space and blend with other bright hues such as avocado, saffron or fuchsia.
  • Subtle themes: If you require subtlety with bright accessories, tie in the color with accent pieces – chairs, abstract décor and toss pillows.  The below spaces shows how complimentary the shade is and how it goes well with blue and browns.
  • Shade simplicity: If more than one Tangerine Tango piece is one too many – use a piece of décor such as coral table accents, throws neatly folded onto couches and chairs or tangerine towels in the bathroom.

What are your favorite ways to communicate with your customers and what do you plan on trying out in the future?
I recently started communicating through my blog www.followingdiana.com and I like to be clear and concise, I like to give the idea of what is going on in few words. I also like to speak positively, so topics are about the good things, good life, uplifting and inspiring ideas, beauty, and people that unite them all!

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned about building a brand?
I bear in mind that consumers may not have any previous knowledge of the brand so I always talk about the basics. The WHAT, WHERE, WHO and HOW.  Another important thing is that you have to be passionate about the brand and emphasize those aspects you personally like the most. For instance, I like that Freixenet is a family owned winery that has been in business for 150 years. And their winery in California, Gloria Ferrer, was named after a woman honoring all the women that have contributed in making  Freixenet the world’s larger sparkling wine producer.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you thus far?
I lost my mother in my early 20s. She was a single mother (something I find impressive) and I was her only child, so it was pretty tough. But, I learned you can create your own life and that is beautiful!

How do you see your career evolving in the near future?
I feel that my career is heading in a good direction and it all is happening in a very organic way.  In the future there are a lot of things going on!  I will bring the brands closer to the film and music industries as well as the artistic and social scenes. Sounds very appealing!

I don’t find success overwhelming, but it is also true that I don’t label things in my life as “failures” or “successes”. Everything that happens is good. It is all good.
